Bilingual Staff Assistant (Spanish/English)

The Bilingual Staff Assistant provides secretarial, clerical and general

office support services to the Executive Director and other staff members

of the Department of Cultural Diversity in the Church in order to enable

effective office operations as they implement programs and projects of

the various committees.  The position also provides English-to-Spanish

and Spanish-to-English translation services in supporting the work of the

department. Proficiency with e-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint,

Access software; Familiarity with Common Spot software; Ability to work

with other computerized database systems, etc. Basic bookkeeping and

accounting skills, able to perform intermediate mathematics. Experience

that demonstrates attention to detail, accuracy, follow-through.

Requirements: years of related work experience. H.S diploma required; 2

years of college or commensurate experience preferred. Majors in

Business, Office Management, Liberal Arts, Communications. Fluent in

Spanish and English preferred. Salary Range: $37,000 - $40,000 Please
