Mary Hamm to be honored by Centro Tepayac

Mary Hamm, the director of Hispanic Family Life and Leadership Development in the Archdiocese of Washington’s Office of Pastoral Ministry and Social Concerns, will be honored at Centro Tepayac’s annual Guadalupe fundraising banquet.

The banquet will be held Saturday, Nov. 3, 6:45 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Great Room at the Edward Pryzbyla Center on the campus of The Catholic University of America. CUA honored Hamm earlier this year with an honorary doctorate for her pro-life work with Centro Tepayac.

Founded in 1990, Centro Tepeyac Silver Spring Women’s Center (Centro Tepeyac) is a nonprofit clinic, offering various services to men and women in the Washington DC metro area. Although the clinic was founded to provide assistance primarily to Hispanic women and their families, it now serves both, Spanish and English-speaking patients. At Centro Tepeyac counseling and medical services are confidential.

The emcee for the Nov. 3 Guadalupe fundraising banquet will be Lauren Ashburn, managing editor and anchor of EWTN News Nightly. Tickets cost $100.
