The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Washington will host its annual Mass celebrating Black History Month on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025, at the Church of the Incarnation, 880 Eastern Ave N.E., Washington, D.C.
Washington Auxiliary Bishop Roy E. Campbell Jr. will serve as the principal celebrant for the liturgy, which will begin at 10 a.m. The celebration will start with a Praise and Worship service at 9:30 a.m., featuring The Archdiocese of Washington Gospel Mass Choir. A time of fellowship will follow the Mass at 11:15 a.m.
The annual gathering invites all to celebrate Black History Month and the contributions of Black Catholics to the Church and wider community. The Office of Cultural Diversity and Outreach is organizing the event.
