An unveiling and dedication of a street shrine to St. Michael the Archangel, defender of God’s People and patron of police, will be held Saturday, Sept 28 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Mother of God Catholic Church, 727 5th Street, N.W., Washington, D.C.
Father Vincent De Rosa, pastor of St. Mary Mother of God Parish, will lead a prayer service for protection and healing, followed by the unveiling and blessing of the outdoor shrine.
A picnic reception will follow the blessing in the parish rose garden.
