Washington Archbishop Wilton Gregory began Holy Week in 2020 in the Archdiocese of Washington by celebrating a Palm Sunday Mass on April 5 at the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle in Washington, D.C. This year, due to coronavirus restrictions, Holy Week liturgies celebrated by Archbishop Gregory at the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle are not open to the public. The liturgies are in both English and Spanish with sign language interpretation and are being live streamed on the Archdiocese of Washington’s Facebook page and on its YouTube channel.
