Pope Francis addresses the 600,000 people gathered at the World Youth Day Vigil. “The Lord’s love is greater than all our problems, frailties and flaws. Yet it is precisely through our problems, frailties and flaws that he wants to write this love story,” the pope said.
The vigil included a procession of flags representing all of the countries of the world, a reminder of the great diversity among the young Catholics who came together at World Youth Day. (CS photo/Jaclyn Lippelmann)
